Surf is about riding surf boards, but some people like to ride horses. For this we have Horse Rock.
I could continue with horse-related jokes. Something about "galloping rhythms". Then I'd have to think really hard for more parallels. I'd suggest you check out their website instead, it's much funnier than whatever I would say. Here's something I took from their FAQ section
QUESTION: MY FRIEND'S COUSIN SAYS THAT HORSE ROCK USE REAL HORSES ON STAGE FOR BACKING VOCALS. IS THIS TRUE?
ANSWER: UNFORTUNATELY YOUR FRIEND'S COUSIN IS QUITE IGNORANT ON THIS MATTER, WE ONLY HAVE 1 HORSE ON STAGE FOR BACKING VOCALS, THE REST ARE NORMALLY BACKSTAGE SMOKING.
Anyway, this is not their fabled aged-vinyl never-to-be-released "Equine Surf" record, but what I've heard is forceful, pounding, and pretty fun. Galloping rhythms and all that.
Looks like you can buy it on Amazon and iTunes and whatnot or listen on Spotify
