This will be my second year at the biggest US surf event: the Surfguitar 101 Convention in Torrance, CA.
I'd list the bands that I'm excited about seeing but... well... as a New Orleaninan beggars can't be choosers, I'm excited to see them all! Though I would like to reach past the modern groups and pull out a real gem: The Lively Ones will be playing with only one non-original member!
Last year I didn't get a chance to meet everybody that I meant to, which I intend to correct this year. Come find me! Though I will unfortunatley not be sticking around for Sunday.
I've got my camera ready to go, so I'll be bringing the festival to the rest of you that can't make it.
