My wife and I are both not the sort of people that pay attention to lyrics. Hilariously, I sequestered myself in a genre of music that foregoes them altogether, she chose a different, equally obscure music where the lyrics sound like gibberish to her. So yeah, this isn't surf by any stretch of imagination; Blato Zlato does traditional Balkan music (mostly Bulgarian) with a slight experimental twist. This is their first LP and my wife has been going crazy making it happen. She's one of the vocalists, though she arranged a number of the songs. The group was formed when her 3-part harmony a capella trio Pyeya started collaborating with G-String Orchestra, and I think the result has been great.
I think y'all are pretty open-minded, hopefully some of you will appreciate this. If not, I don't plan on stepping outside the surf world too often here.
