Surfer Joe releases El Sonido Cojonudo De Surfer Joe

Surfer Joe - El Sonido Cojonudo De Surfer Joe

From what I'm gathering, "Cojonudo" translates to "ballsy", which I think explains the near-nude cover of this record. I say near-nude not because of the guitar, but because I think I spy the strap of his tighty-whities at his hip. Then I realized I was looking at this way too hard.

Anyway, if you're not familiar with Surfer Joe, he's the hardworking surf entrepeneur behind Surfer Joe , , , and of course . After all that, you almost have to remind yourself that he writes surf music too.

This album may have four originals on it, but it also includes the entirety of his Live in Brighton 2014 album tacked onto the end.

I don't see anywhere to stream any of these, but you can buy it from a lot of places including  and soom from Double Crown, Planeta Reverb, and Green Cookie. And while it's currently only up in iTunes, it should be on its way to other digital retailers.
